It brought out how people were enjoying the park, and this beautiful location, much as they did a hundred years ago. When I drew this picture, on a spring afternoon, I loved sketching all the action. People congregate there, either dining at the Terrace in the casino, or strolling around the lake, or sitting on benches - or, when weather permits, rowing around on rowboats.
